The “Housing is a Human Right” Rally
Defend the rights of plight of Intentionally Displaced Persons

Join the New York Solidarity Coalition with Katrina and Rita Survivors, The NE Survivors Assembly, grassroots organizations, faith leaders, union members and others, as we demand the United States government carry out the charter of the United Nations.
This is the next step in unifying the struggle……….. We must come together and fight

Why is it that some 50,000 people in New York City are Homeless?

Why can't our government live up to the right of Gulf Coast survivors to housing and the right to return?

We must force the United States government to recognize The Gulf Coast Survivors as Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) with all the rights accorded to them based on International Law.
