Contents:
4pm-6-pm - march from UN Plaza

October 10, 2010 mark the first ever World Homeless Day! We are joining cities across America in solidarity with 43 other countries to protest global and local poverty and homelessness.
Decisions:
Locally, we have many campaigns and problems to fight: the sit-lie laws attempts to criminalize poverty and privatize public space; the continuing loss of vital programs for poor and homeless people due to budget cuts and "profit over people" policies; and the continuing incompetence and indifference of our politicians to the real needs of our communities for housing and other basic human rights.

Please join us for dinner, dancing, a tour of our newly liberated housing, and an open mic for grassroots organizations to share their progress and individuals to share their stories and vision as we build a bigger movement to make homelessness history!"
