The Global Platform on the Right to the City (GPR2C) which had been a part of the process but was subsequently removed and now stands alone as a mandate for future development around the world along with its membership from around the world will be in the city for the HLPF and various side events. One of the side events will take place Saturday July 14th from 12:00-4:00pm in Brook Park, 494 E. 141st St.

Billed as a Community Dinner-Meet & Greet the event will bring special guest to the Bronx to have a discussion on environmental issues, displacement, housing/homelessness, land access and gentrification/rezoning all issues negatively affecting long time residents of the Bronx.

Along with members of the GPR2C, we are expecting a special visitor from the UN Office of the High Commissioner of Human Rights.

We hope you can be there to share and learn!

Let's build a global movement of solidarity!
